Out of Touch Lois Frankel:
Failing Florida for Over 30 Years

Lois Frankel’s Top 10 Worst Votes

  1. Voted Against Deporting Illegal Immigrants Who Have Committed Sex Crimes and Domestic Violence - Amazingly, Frankel, who purports to be an advocate for women's rights, voted against the “Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act” (HR 7909), which requires the deportation of illegal immigrants who are convicted of domestic violence crimes and sex offenses.
  2. Voted Against Protecting Law Enforcement Officers - Frankel voted against The Protect and Serve Act of 2018 (HR 5698), which made it a federal crime to cause serious bodily injury to a law enforcement officer. This bill passed with overwhelming bipartisan support, but Frankel was one of the few in Congress who voted against it. Frankel has long been anti-police, dating back to her days as the Mayor of West Palm Beach.
  3. Voted Against Protecting Female Athletes - Frankel voted against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023 (HR 734). This bill strengthens Title IX by prohibiting school athletic programs from allowing individuals whose biological sex at birth was male to participate in programs that are for created for women and girls. Frankel’s vote against this bill, which protects female athletes on the field and in the locker room, shows her disregard for women’s rights to safely play sports.
  4. Voted Against Deporting Illegal Immigrants Convicted of DUI - By refusing to vote for the “Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act” (HR 6976), which will protect Americans by deporting illegal immigrants convicted of drunk driving, Frankel has shown her disregard for public safety.
  5. No-Show on Vote Supporting Israel - In April 2023, Frankel didn’t even bother to show up to vote on a bill (HR 311) in support of Israel and The Abraham Accords, highlighting her longstanding tepid support for one of our most important allies. This bill passed 401-19 with only the anti-Semitic “Squad” and a few other holdouts voting against it.
  6. Voted To Allow Illegal Immigrants to Use VA Benefits - Frankel voted against HR 8580, which would prevent illegal immigrants from using Veterans Administration benefits. Our veterans struggle to get the benefits they have earned from the VA, but Lois Frankel wants to make it even harder for them by allowing illegals to have access to these programs.
  7. Supported the So-Called "Inflation Reduction Act" - Despite its misleading name, the Act has done nothing in the last 2 years to curb inflation. Instead, as many predicted, it expanded inflationary government spending, hitting small businesses and working families the hardest.
  8. Voted Against Deporting Illegal Immigrants Convicted of Social Security and COVID Fraud - Frankel voted against the Consequences for Social Security Fraud Act (HR 6678) which allows the U.S. to deport illegal immigrants convicted of social security fraud or COVID-19 loan fraud. Lois Frankel does not care if illegals steal your hard-earned tax dollars.
  9. Voted Against Protecting Border Control Officers – Frankel voted against the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act (HR 5585), which provides for criminal penalties for illegal immigrants who cause the death or serious bodily injury of Border Control officers. Frankel's vote against it shows her lack of concern for securing America’s borders and keeping our law enforcement officers safe.
  10. Voted To Keep Criminals on Our Streets – Frankel voted against the “Laken Riley Act,” which was named after a 22-year-old college student killed by an illegal immigrant gang member with a lengthy criminal record. This bill (HR 7511) requires the Department of Homeland Security to detain illegal immigrants arrested for serious crimes. Frankel voted against it, leaving our communities at risk.

A Lifetime Politician with Little to Show

Lois Frankel’s career in politics spans more than three decades, but after all that time, what has she really accomplished? As mayor of West Palm Beach and now as a U.S. Representative, Frankel’s tenure has been marked by controversy, failed policies, and a disconnect from the people she claims to represent. It's time to retire this career politician who’s been in office for far too long.

A Record of Economic Failure

Because of Lois Frankel's failed economic policies, inflation has skyrocketed, devastating Florida families who are struggling to pay their bills. She’s backed reckless, inflationary spending, including the $1.9 trillion ARPA bill, which has led to higher prices on everything from groceries to gas. While she votes to raise your taxes, Frankel fails to address the economic hardships faced by the people of FL-22. We need a leader who will put the American people first and work to reduce inflation, not contribute to it.

Soft on Crime, Hard on Our Communities

Instead of supporting law enforcement, Lois Frankel has backed movements to reallocate police funds, leaving our communities more vulnerable. While the threat of crime is always with us, she’s focused on pushing policies that weaken the ability of our police officers to keep us safe. Florida needs a Representative who stands with law enforcement, not against them.

Out of Touch with Florida Values

Lois Frankel is completely disconnected from the values that Florida voters hold dear. She's a radical progressive who votes against individual rights and freedoms. She wants the Federal government to control every aspect of your life, from the stove in the kitchen, to the car you can drive, to how you educate your children. She's pushing an agenda that’s out of sync with the beliefs of many Floridians. Her extreme liberal views on many issues make it clear: Lois Frankel represents the Washington elites and she does not represent us.

Corruption and Scandal

During her time as mayor of West Palm Beach, Frankel’s administration was marred by allegations of “pay-to-play” governance, where influence is bought by those willing to pay a price. Even though she was never formally charged, the scandals surrounding her leadership left a stain on West Palm Beach. As a member of Congress, controversy continued to follow her: in 2023, she came under fire for questionable stock trades involving financial institutions heavily regulated by the federal government.
